ICOM F51-ATEX / F61-ATEX Intrinsically Safe Portable Radio

The ICOM F51 and F61 ATEX is a compact, intrinsically safe portable two-way radios designed for hazardous environments like oil rigs and chemical plants. They feature a rugged, waterproof (IP67) construction and are certified to meet strict ATEX safety standards for gas and dust protection.

  • ATEX Intrinsically Safe: Certified to II 2 G Ex ib IIA T3 Gb (Gas) and II 2 D Ex tb IIIC T160°C Db IP67 (Dust) standards.
  • Waterproof and Dustproof: Rated IP67, meaning the unit is dust-tight and can withstand submersion in 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes.
  • Rugged Construction: Built with an aluminium die-cast chassis and polycarbonate casing; tested to MIL-STD 810 C/D/E/F military specifications.
  • 128 Memory Channels: Divided into 8 memory banks for flexible channel management across different zones.
  • Programmable Controls: Includes 7 programmable buttons that can be assigned specific functions, plus a dedicated red emergency button.
  • Built-in Signaling: Standard features include 2-Tone, 5-Tone, CTCSS, and DTCS signaling for selective calling and group management
  • Voice Scrambler: Features a built-in rolling-type voice scrambler (compatible with UT-110) for enhanced communication security
  • Alphanumeric LCD: An 8-character display with automatic backlighting for operation in low-light conditions
