The ICOM iC_M87 ATEX  is an intrinsically safe, waterproof VHF handheld transceiver designed for use in hazardous environments like oil rigs and petrol tankers. It is a "hybrid" radio that supports both international marine channels and 22 programmable Land Mobile Radio (PMR) channels
